EA Games BURNOUT LEGENDS for the PSP brings together many of the best racing modes of the previous three BURNOUT games. But the game is more than just a compilation of previous entries in the series; BURNOUT LEGENDS includes a number of exclusive features. BURNOUT LEGENDS includes nine different racing modes. In addition to the standard tournament, single race, and time trial races, many of the modes from previous BURNOUT games are included. Players can chase other cars in BURNOUT 2’s pursuit mode or aim to take down other racers in BURNOUT 3: Takedown’s crash mode. All of these modes are playable via wireless connection with up to five other players as well as against the AI. Another unique addition to BURNOUT LEGENDS is the ability to slow down time during crashes. Using this technique, players can actually control their burning car, tweaking its direction and speed so that it hits other cars. The more damage a player causes by doing this, the more likely they are to get a crashbreaker, which allows them to destroy their car and any cars nearby. Players who loved the BURNOUT console games will love having the best modes available on the go. BURNOUT LEGENDS presents the best of the best while keeping the crazy crashing action that players love about the series, and the new ability to carefully manipulate crashes is sure to add a bit of extra fun to the game.
